Our Initiatives
Annual Medical Camps
Our annual medical camps serve as a lifeline for individuals with disabilities, providing them with access to essential healthcare services and support. Held at Singampet High School and Ammapet Periaswamy Middle School, these camps bring together medical professionals, volunteers, and community members to ensure that no one is left behind. From medical check-ups to distribution of medications and medical supplies, our camps aim to improve the health and well-being of those in need.
ID Card Distribution and Renewals
We understand the importance of identity documentation for individuals with disabilities, as it grants them access to various government welfare schemes and services. Through our ID card distribution and renewal programs, we assist individuals in obtaining or renewing their identification cards, ensuring that they are recognized and supported by relevant authorities. To date, we have helped over 800 individuals receive new ID cards or renewals, enabling them to access essential resources and support.
Vocational Training Programs
Empowering individuals with disabilities through vocational training is at the heart of our mission. We collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to provide skill development programs tailored to their needs and abilities. One such initiative includes training in the production of sanitary napkins for girls, aimed at enhancing economic opportunities and promoting menstrual hygiene awareness. By equipping individuals with valuable skills, we empower them to lead independent and self-sufficient lives.
Celebrations and Community Events
In addition to our core programs, we believe in celebrating moments of joy and solidarity with the communities we serve. From heartwarming celebrations for underprivileged children to festive gatherings during occasions like Thai Pongal, Christmas, and New Year, we strive to spread happiness and foster a sense of belonging among all individuals, regardless of their circumstances.
